Detox is confirmed!

Many fans, critics and media outlets alike have been fiending for a taste of the Detox since 2003. With release dates being given every year and nothing materialized except for one track back in 2004 featuring the Game and Jay-Z, some people thought it would never drop. But Dre talks to USA Today.“I’m just now, over the last couple months, starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it. In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.”
Fans can rejoice and expect collaborations with Nas, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z. “I just make the music feel the way I want it to feel and I don’t put it out until I’m totally happy with it,” Dre explains. “Then it does what it does…I’m going to put this record out, promote it, and then become a hermit. I’m going to stay in the studio and produce. All I want to do is sit in the studio with that person (a new artist) for a year and try to create another masterpiece.”
No word or mention on what he may choose for his first single.
In other related news, Dre disclosed his venture with Monster, a leader in audio/video accessories, called Beats by Dr. Dre. Dre, Interscope head Jimmy Iovine, and Monster have developed high definition powered isolation headphones available on Friday (July 25) exclusively at Best Buy and Apple stores for $349.95.
