He approached an undercover Miami-Dade Police narcotics detective and requested to purchase “30 Powder & 15 Weed” — street slang for cocaine and marijuana. X handed over $45 — and was arrested.

rapper DMX AKA earl simmons is about to lose a Fifth Avenue townhouse in an sheriff auction due to a breach of contract lawsuit filed in 2004.

June 25, 2008 — RAPPER DMX, who’s had scrapes with the law over charges of animal cruelty and drug possession, might now lose a Fifth Avenue townhouse because he didn’t promote a line of canine couture.

The vacant, 18-foot wide property at 2007 Fifth Ave. and East 124th Street - near the fancy Marcus Garvey Park - is due to be auctioned on Aug. 13.

The sheriff’s sale should satisfy a judgment - totaling $281,000 with interest - resulting from a breach of contract lawsuit filed in 2004.

Ellenville, NY-based Amusing Diversions won the right to the judgment after doggedly pursuing the star, whose real name is Earl Simmons, for not promoting its line of dogwear.

Dark Man X finally got a lucky break last week when a judge vacated a $1.5 million judgment awarded to a woman who filed a defamation suit against Earl Simmons AKA DMX after he alleged that she raped him.

Wayne became pregnant after an August 2003 encounter with Simmons in a Washington hotel room. She gave birth to a boy in April 2004 and DNA tests showed it was Simmons’ son.

But in a 2006 magazine interview, Simmons, without referring to Wayne by name, said she “raped” him while he slept. Wayne denied the claim, and said in a court hearing this year that she awoke to find Simmons on top of her, which led to consensual sex. She said she filed the lawsuit because “he lied to the whole world on me” about what happened.

Wayne was awarded the $1.5 million at a January hearing after Simmons failed to appear. But his lawyers challenged that claim, saying Wayne did not properly serve him with lawsuit papers and was unaware of the case against him.

earlier today 37 year-old earl simmons AKA D Pause M Pause X…(dog bark 2X) was busted at at his Cave Creek arizona residence on suspicion of driving at speeds exceeding 100 mph among other infractions on Loop 101 through Scottsdale.

DMX was booked on two counts of endangerment, three counts of criminal speeding, racing on a highway, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.He was also caught by multiple still & video cameras..TMZ has the video along with pics
