hhmmmmm, the thought of unheard dilla beats from 95′ when i 1st became a fan of his sounds like a dream come true right? but theirs a catch illa j is gonna rap over the beats which im not to thrilled about. now im not hatin on illa. but the truth remains his raps aint the best & he sound to much like dilla IMO..dilla wasn’t the rakim of his generation either.BUT dilla had skills on mic & HIS raps fit the beat & made you nod your head.& made you feel what he was sayin’.
jay dee remains in my top 10 producers of all time.donuts was on repeat for months on end for me.& that says alot ( a new cd last a couple days tops) so i remain skeptical but open minded on this project.
